"What Is It Like?" is a dreamy song about yearning for adventure.  In the musical play, the Country Mouse dreams of going to visit the Big City.  Her Country Siblings try to warn her that she is naive and that the Big City has many scary dangers -- far worse than what they know and can expect in the country.  But she is determined to follow her dream.
