To Feel His Presence There
Words and Music by Betsy Lee Bailey
Many moments I am blind to promptings I receive.
Mocking voices flood my mind to test what I believe.
Though trials and temptings come to steer me from my course,
And wand'ring, I may stumble and forget the one true power and source of inspiration,
Still the Savior beckons me with love beyond compare.
Forgiveness is the Lord's to give if we will seek to feel His presence there.
Humbly and repentantly, I kneel before the Lord.
Earnestly and fervently, I pray to be restored
To all the blessings I require to guide me day by day
That I may be resourceful and may never tire of doing good and seeking virtue,
Still the Savior beckons me with love beyond compare.
Devotion to the Lord I offer as I seek to feel His presence there.
