Look Up, Step Up, and Cheer Up - SA and Guitar
Theme song for Young Women's Camp to be sung by 2-part Treble Chorus with guitar/ukelele accompaniment. The words were inspired by a talk given by Elder Carl B. Cook in October 2011 General Conference. This happy little song should be sung in an easy style with a laid back swing rhythm. Scat sing or whistle the little introduction each time and remember where to look to find happiness.

Thank you so much for the wonderful song for our Girls Camp. We LOVE it! I talked with the camp director today and she was so happy with it! She wanted me to share this experience with you. I guess the stake had asked someone else to give it a shot writing a song and it turned out terrible. She said it was horrible. She then found out you had agreed to give it a shot and was super excited. She woke up the next morning with the words running through her head, "Look up, step up, cheer up" in a similar way to how your song starts. When she saw your song and heard it she felt chills. It was truly inspiration! We love the words, music and everything about it. We showed it to a few of the girls on our committee and they commented on how upbeat it is, and it makes them happy, and it is catchy. Basically that is everything we asked for! Thank you again.
