Nursery Rhymes Quodlibet  from "The Adventures of Dick Whittington"

Four different Old English Nursery Rhymes from the Renaissance (about 1600 A.D.) are featured together as a production number in "The Adventures of Dick Whittington."  The children enter in groups, each singing their own Nursery Rhymes and doing their own actions suggested by the rhymes.  This is an example of and ancient style of PARTNER SONG called QUODLIBET.

This piece is available for 4-part Children's Chorus with MP3 accompaniment at SMP Press.
