He played "'Tis the Last Rose of Summer" as a flugelhorn solo with the band last week. A bonus in that performance was the tiny dancer who entertained us as well. While Randy played beautifully, this little girl gave us something to watch. She did a lyrical interpretation of the music that matched the ebbs and flows to a "T." She danced through the other band numbers as well showing us quite the repertoire of moves including splits, tumbles, and cartwheels.
She looked to be about 4 years old. I wouldn't mind if I had some talented little dancers in my upcoming Theater Camp next week. I hope I will.
It's always fun to go hear the music of the Band. I particularly love the patriotic marches. Can't help but sing along!
